For our Trade Fair & Conference Productions in Germany, we are looking for experienced moderators (m/f/d) to support national and international trade fairs, exhibitions, and conferences.

Midday Film Productions is a leading film and production company for trade fair, conference, and event productions, operating across Germany and internationally upon request.We deliver professional trade fair video and photography production, trade fair photography, and on-site interview formats for companies, exhibitors, and event organizers.

Our Setup: The Midday Interview Pod

The Midday Interview Pod is our mobile on-site interview studio for trade fairs and conferences.It is installed directly on the show floor and serves as a controlled production environment for high-quality video interviews, panel discussions, and executive statements — combined with professional trade fair videography and photography.

➡️ A real film studio on the trade fair floor, developed for sales, marketing, and PR purposes.

Responsibilities – Moderation within Our Trade Fair Productions

  • On-camera moderation in the Midday Interview Pod

  • Conducting live interviews, discussion rounds, and video statements

  • Confident and structured conversation with business and B2B stakeholders

  • Collaboration with our trade fair videography and photography team

  • Professional representation of brands, companies, and event organizers

  • Optional: moderation for livestreams, podcasts, or social media clips

    Requirements for Moderators (DE/EN)

    • Experience as a moderator, host, or interviewer (event, trade fair, conference, corporate)

    • Excellent German and English skills (international trade fairs)

    • Confident on-camera presence in a professional B2B environment

    • Ability to communicate business, product, and corporate topics clearly and concisely

    • Reliability, punctuality, and a professional appearance on trade fairs

    • Willingness to work on a project-based basis

    Freelance, project-based collaboration No entertainment or show format – structured content production

    Locations – Trade Fairs & Conferences

    Our trade fair video and photography productions regularly take place in:

    • Berlin

    • Munich

    • Frankfurt

    • Cologne / Düsseldorf

    • Hanover

    • Hamburg

    • Nuremberg

    Germany-wide, international projects upon request.
